Mila

Mila is a city inside the northeast of Algeria and the capital of Mila Province. In antiquity, it changed into known as Milevum or Miraeon, Μιραiον and changed into located in the Roman province of Numidia. In Ptolemy's Geography, IV, iii, 7, the metropolis is referred to underneath the call of Mileum or Mireon. During the Roman era it was referred to as Colonia Sarnensis Milevitana, after the River Sarnus in Campania, whence the colonists had emigrated.
