About Lakhdaria
Lakhdaria previously referred to as Palestro, is a metropolis in northern Algeria, inside the Bouïra Province. It is located 50 miles south east of Algiers. It is surrounded via the Kabylie mountains, and through a 3 miles long river named oued Isser, passing through rocky mountains known as the grottoes of Lakhdaira. The town changed into named Palestro while it became based in 1860, it become named in honour of the Franco-Piedmontese victory over Austria at Palestro in 1859 at some stage in the Second Italian War of Independence.
It turned into renamed Lakhdaria after Algerian independence in honour of Mokrani Rabah Lakhdar, known as Si Lakhdar, a senior FLN chief at some stage in the Algerian War. The population is now around 59, 009 people. Farming, creation and transportation are the main assets of employment of the local population. Some residents also shuttle to Algiers for work. The metropolis is very busy, human beings love to do buying and assembly in espresso stores and mosques. Agriculture prevails inside the area, specifically veggies and olive bushes on circle of relatives farms, many located at the bottom of the mountains that surround the region.
