About Mountain View
Mountain View is a city in California. It is named for its perspectives of the Santa Cruz Mountains. The city imparts its outskirts to the urban areas of Palo Alto, Los Altos, and Sunnyvale, and in addition Moffett Federal Airfield and the San Francisco Bay. As of the 2010 enumeration, the city had a populace of 74,066. Situated in Silicon Valley, Mountain View is home to numerous high innovation organizations.
In 1956, Shockley Semiconductor Laboratory, the principal organization to create silicon semiconductor gadgets in what came to be known as Silicon Valley, was built up in the city by William Shockley.
