About Banks
Banks is a city in Washington County, Oregon, United States which is situated in the Tualatin Valley. It is the southern grapple to the Banks– Vernonia State Trail, which is a 21-mile long direct trail prominent with bicyclists, climbers, and equestrians. The populace was 1,777 at the 2010 enumeration. The community was named for John and Nancy Banks, who possessed an adjacent dairy farm.
Incorporated in 1921, it is situated in the western piece of the area where Oregon Route 6 converges Oregon Route 47. The city has three private schools, which are managed by the Banks School District, and one tuition based school. The city schools are Banks Elementary School, Banks Junior High School, and Banks High School.
