3. Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, New Mexico

4. Harbin Ice and Snow Festival, China

5. Holi, India
The ancient Hindu festival is celebrated at the beginning of spring. The festival of colours is celebrated, to mark the love of Lord Krishna and Radha. Holi is celebrated by sprinkling vibrant colours on each other. People flock from all over world, to Mathura and Vrindavan, to experience the most spectacular Holi.
6. Carnival of Venice, Italy
The Venice Carnival is one of the World's most elaborate and dazzling carnivals. The festival is known for its beautiful masks. The carnival features elaborate costumes, non-stop music, masked balls, jugglers, entertainers, parades of colourful boats and fireworks.
7. Diwali, India
Diwali is the brightest Hindu festival. The festival of lights symbolizes victory of good over evil. On Diwali people wear new outfits, decorate their homes and illuminate their homes with clay lamps and candles. They participate in family puja and offer their prayers to goddess Lakshmi. Following the puja they burn firecrackers, exchange gifts with their loved ones and feast on sweets.
8. Chiang Mai Flower Festival, Thailand
The annual flower festival exhibits a variety of beautiful and exotic flowers. The open-air exhibition also offer multitude of other attractions to the visitors, including processions, flower arrangement contests, Miss Flower beauty pageant, agricultural exhibitions, music concerts, and local products fair.
9. Chinese New Year, China
The biggest Chinese festival is celebrated with beautiful fireworks, Chinese dragons, exotic flowers, lanterns, symbolic clothing and parades. White Nights Festival, Russia: The yearly festival features spectacular fireworks, opera, music concerts, classical ballets and mock battles among pirates.
